Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 August 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Teacher Survival Skills website, the free Implementation Guide, and The TSS Staffroom newsletter (together, "the materials"). By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Who we are

Teacher Survival Skills is run by Emily Frontain, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected].

The free guide and newsletter

The Implementation Guide and newsletter are provided free of charge. We may update, change or stop providing them at any time. You are welcome to use the guide for your own teaching and professional development, and to share ideas with colleagues, but you may not resell it, republish it as your own, or present it as your own work.

Our content is for general information, not professional advice

The materials share teaching strategies, systems and reflections drawn from classroom experience. They are for general information and professional development only. They are not a substitute for your school's or employer's policies and procedures, your professional judgement, or formal advice on safeguarding, employment, legal, medical or other regulated matters. Always follow your own setting's policies and seek appropriate professional guidance where needed. We cannot guarantee any particular outcome from using the ideas we share, because every classroom, learner and school is different.

Intellectual property

The materials, including all text, guides, graphics and the name and branding of Teacher Survival Skills, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may read, download and print them for your own personal and professional use. You may not copy, sell, adapt commercially, or distribute them at scale without our permission.

Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other websites, including online retailers such as Amazon where our book is sold. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of sites we do not control. Following those links is at your own discretion.

Your responsibilities

When using our pages you agree not to misuse them, attempt to disrupt them, or use them for anything unlawful.

Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care with the materials, but we provide them "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the materials. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
